The company was born in the 1930s from the hands of Francesco Metelli, known as "Cechi". He started building bread ovens in the province of Brescia, until experience gained in Naples — where he learned the traditional techniques of master pizza oven builders — led him to a turning point: leaving bread behind and specialising in pizza ovens.

In the 1980s, with Ugo Dall'Olio — Cechi's son-in-law — joining the business, the company grew while keeping the method unchanged: every oven built by hand, every refractory brick hand-selected, every dome curve calculated to optimise heat. A process that cannot be industrialised. Cannot be automated. Cannot be delegated.

Today Ceky S.r.l. is one of the world's leading manufacturers of professional pizza ovens. Present in over 60 countries, with a 2,500 m² facility in Lograto (BS) and a global sales network. But every oven is still — and has always been — made by hand.

Ceky is not a corporation. It's a family story passed down through generations — with the same dedication, the same materials, the same philosophy that Francesco Metelli used in the early 1930s. With Ugo Dall'Olio the company grows and takes shape without losing its soul. With Andrea Dall'Olio it enters the global era, bringing Ceky ovens to over 60 countries.

The story of Ceky — From 1930 to today

1930 — The birth of a craft
Francesco Metelli, known as "Cechi", begins building artisan bread ovens in the province of Brescia. Experience gained in Naples, where he learned the traditional techniques of pizza oven masters, leads him to abandon bread and specialise in pizza oven manufacturing.
1985 — Forni Ceky is born
With son-in-law Ugo Dall'Olio joining the company, Ceky structures itself industrially. The first modular refractory brick oven is created and production capacity is multiplied fivefold.
1988 — The first integrated gas burner
Ceky designs the first gas burner placed directly inside the cooking chamber, bringing live flame into the oven without the need for wood.
2003 — Ceky S.r.l. — Global leadership
The company becomes a S.r.l. with Andrea Dall'Olio joining as Managing Director. New showrooms, computerised operations, over 2,500 m² of covered facilities. Present in over 60 countries.
2024 — Full AVPN certification
Forni Ceky joins AVPN — Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana — with the entire range of refractory brick ovens, both static and rotating.
2026 — The electric rotating oven
Ceky completes the range with the electric rotating oven: rotating deck with high-efficiency heating elements, multi-zone digital control, independent modulation of top and bottom heat. Made in Italy, zero emissions.
